BMW R 1300 GS / GSA / RT / R / RS 20,000 km Service Kit – Oil + Air Filters + Spark Plugs

The BMW R 1300 20,000 km service kit combines the main consumables required for comprehensive scheduled engine maintenance on compatible R 1300 boxer motorcycles.

This kit is intended for compatible BMW R 1300 GS, R 1300 GS Adventure, R 1300 RT, R 1300 R and R 1300 RS motorcycles, combining engine oil, oil filter, two air filters, two spark plugs and sealing components in one convenient package.

For the lubrication system, the kit includes 5 x 1-litre bottles of BMW ADVANTEC Ultimate 5W-40 engine oil, part number 83122405887, providing a total of 5 litres of engine oil.

It also contains the Genuine BMW oil filter 11427105320, designed to capture particles and contaminants circulating through the engine lubrication system.

The 99x2 oil filter cover O-ring, part number 07119909902, is also included, allowing the oil filter cover sealing component to be renewed during the applicable maintenance procedure.

For the intake system, this kit contains 2 Genuine BMW air filters, part number 13725A72844. The kit therefore supplies the complete pair of air filters required for the applicable R 1300 maintenance procedure.

The air filters help prevent dust, dirt and other particles from entering the engine while maintaining the airflow required by the intake system.

Ignition maintenance is covered by 2 BMW spark plugs, part number 12128560811, providing both spark plugs required for the compatible R 1300 boxer engine.

BMW sealing components 07119963073 and 07119963252 are also included for the applicable maintenance operations.

A 20,000 km service is more comprehensive than a basic engine oil change. Replacing the engine oil, filters and spark plugs helps maintain correct lubrication, intake, combustion and overall engine operation.

Other maintenance operations specified by BMW for the applicable motorcycle and mileage should also be performed. Depending on model and service history, additional checks may include valve clearance, timing components, cooling system, brakes, fluids, shaft drive/final drive, battery and tyres.

After completing the service, the engine oil level should be checked according to the correct BMW procedure, and the oil filter cover, drain points and all other serviced sealing areas should be inspected for leaks.
